Covid-19 Support
Donation protected
We have updated this campaign to help us through these uncertain and difficult times. We are asking our amazing supporters to assist in the upkeep and care of the animals in our sanctuary. Anything you can give, big or small will help us get through this period. We can't thank you enough for your support! Thank you!!!
Tropical Birdland is a non-profit making, privately owned organisation which started in 1982. Over the years we have taken in hundreds of unwanted pet parrots and rehabilitated them to a more natural environment. Today, we strive to breed endangered species, for future generations to appreciate, because one day they may no longer exist in the wild. We aim to educate all of our visitors of the problems that parrots face both in the wild and in captivity, thus ensuring the bird has a full, active and enjoyable future.
Now more than ever the unwanted ex-pet parrots that we take in need to be re-educated and encouraged to exhibit their hidden natural instincts. We want to see them acquire basic survival traits and bond with their own species. Our ultimate aim is to see them rear their own offspring to independence – these parrots can then be shared to zoos and breeding centres across Europe, helping to further secure the species survival in captivity and in turn, in the wild through rehabilitation programmes within their natural habitats.
WE NEED YOUR HELP!!
All funds raised will go directly to the upkeep and maintenance of tropical birdland so please DONATE now and help these unwanted parrots.
