Ukrainian grassroots charity seeks help!

This campaign is to help a local Ukrainian charity, "The Hugging Fund", raise funds internationally. Since its inception in April 2022, the founder Anastasiya Demchuk (top left photo) and her team have been battling a humanitarian crisis caused by the war in Ukraine by:

• Assisting victims of war, women, children, the elderly, families of defenders

• Delivering vital supplies, food, medication, hygiene products, and pet food

• Offering psychological assistance

• Mobilizing local volunteers and partners

Before GoFundMe, "The Hugging Fund" approached several charity foundations abroad - with little success. It is challenging for a Ukrainian grassroots organisation to gain attention and raise funds internationally.
