Who We Are:

University of Toronto Formula Racing (UTFR) is an engineering student design team at the University of Toronto that designs, builds, and competes an electric formula-style race car each year in international Formula SAE/Student competitions. We have over 70 members actively participating in 4 major categories across the team, including electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, driverless (DV) development, and business.

Our Goal:

At UTFR, we allow students to develop and foster hands-on skills in an environment that will help them excel in their prospective careers. As a student-run team, we pride ourselves on giving all participating members an equal opportunity to learn, and as such do not have a membership fee. We are incredibly grateful to all the sponsors who have donated and helped us achieve our goals thus far.
