Help for Abbie through her cancer journey

Abbie’s Fight Against Cancer
In early 2022, Abbie McNett — a beautiful 11-year-old girl — was diagnosed with a rare, advanced, and aggressive cancer. The last two years have been a whirlwind of highs and lows for Abbie and her family.
Abbie’s been through surgeries, multiple rounds of chemotherapy and radiation, endless doctor and hospital visits — and much of that in the middle of the Covid pandemic when isolation from family and friends only added to the challenges she faced.
To care for her daughter, Abbie’s mom has not been able to work for two years and her dad took a leave without pay for three months, while Abbie was receiving specialized treatment in New York City.
The WNY community has rallied around Abbie and her family — supporting them with prayers, financial donations, meals, and words of encouragement. Many organizations and people, including Josh Allen, have rallied to Abbie’s side.
But the need is ongoing.
Abbie — we are happy to report — is currently in remission. And that’s fabulous news! Her doctor and hospital visits (and preventative care), however, continue. And this continues to keep the family under a serious financial strain.
With that in view, we are reactivating Abbie’s GoFundMe page. Her family has fallen behind with the medical bills and more costs are on the horizon. So, if you can help to lighten the load, it would be greatly appreciated.
If any donated money remains, Abbie’s family intends to give all of it to other families in similar situations. They’re good people!
Thanks, in advance, for whatever you can do to help!
