Sponsored Abseil in support of Amber

Pacific West Foods (UK) Ltd are very proud to support Amber a local charity (No. 1051388) that does amazing work with young people who have found themselves homeless.  We as a company are very passionate about this charity and all the fantastic work they do. Amber work to improve the lives of these young people helping them gain qualifications and skills which lead to employment and a place of their own.

This year we have as a company decided to do a fundraising event in support of Amber, our team members will be participating in a sponsored abseil at Cheddar Gorge on Monday 21st October 2019  which we hope you will consider donating to.

What your donation will help towards:

·         £15 a week will fund personal development and teamwork activities

·         £25 a week will provide nutritious meals for one of the young people

·         £29 will fund a therapy session to help residents come to terms with their pasts

·         £126 will fund the costs of a team gaining qualifications in housing related subjects, providing a passport to accommodation with potential landlords

The cost to Amber per year for housing and training one resident is £5,000 with this in mind we have set ourselves this amount as a target to raise.
