Walk with a Sister 2024

Tax deductible
Can you imagine being a 31-year-old woman hearing the terrifying words, “you have breast cancer”? No one should have to walk that journey alone.
I didn't. With the support of family, friends and Sisters Network Triangle NC, I am a 29-year breast cancer survivor/thriver, mother and advocate.
I currently serve as President of the Sisters Network Triangle NC chapter.

Sisters Network Triangle is a 501c3 affiliate chapter of Sisters Network ® Inc. Sisters Network Inc. is the largest national African American breast cancer survivorship organization in the United States and a leading voice in the fight against breast cancer in the African American community. Sisters Network is committed to increasing local and national attention to the devastating impact breast cancer has in the African American community. (www.sisterstriangle.org)

We invite you to “Walk With A Sister.” Join Sisters Network Triangle NC and The Legends by supporting our third walk scheduled for
March 23 & 24, 2024. We will walk a half marathon (13.1 miles) each day in Durham and Raleigh, NC. All donations, large or small, are welcomed.

Your donation will help support our local outreach programs and breast cancer survivors in the Triangle area.
Early detection saves lives! Help us "STOP THE SILENCE"!

Thank you for supporting our 4th "Walk With A Sister" event.

In Sisterhood,

Portia Scott Hedgepeth, 29-year Survivor
