Be an Angel for Angel.

Hello Everyone. I’m creating this Gofundme for a friend, and to those who know her, she is a dear friend to most of you that I know. Very supportive of everyones events, sings in most major concerts and raises funds for a good cause. For those who doesn’t know yet, Angel Ram went through a major surgery last July 14th at the Jersey City Medical Center for total removal of her thyroid. Two years before this procedure, she was already suffering from the thyroid problems causing her to be in and out of the hospital for thyroid storm.

The surgery was a success! She was recovering really good the next few days, until July 17th where she had her first near death experience from post surgery complications, where her airway collapsed twice, leaving her hospitalized again. She survived that challenging moment. While trying to get back to her normal routine, week after week there were problems, she would have numbness, cramps and stiffness all over her body, leading her to go back to the hospital, needing electrolyte infusions. And to date, she has been in and out nine times from her surgery day. She missed a lot of work days, but tried not to miss anyone’s special events to show support and love. Until yesterday, On her way home from a Halloween event, she had a massive chest pain with numbness of her extremities, she passed out on the way to the hospital. If it weren’t for Carmela’s quick thinking,

( Carmella is the one driving Angel’s home )she would’ve suffered something more serious and debilitating than it already is now.

I was able to see her while in the ER, she had every stroke symptoms as per the doctors and they are ruling Transient Ischemic Attack/Stroke.

The doctors advised

her to stop working for at least a few months to fully recover. She suffered badly from calcium deficiency that left her with left side weakness, body numbness and cramps. She needs treatment coupled with physical therapy. She will have to take care of herself to get her strength back. I would like to apologize on her behalf if she will miss any event in the future. As for now we humbly ask for your help. She needs support for the months that she will be recuperating. No amount is too big or too small. Angel works paycheck to paycheck and she would really appreciate any help from anyone. As I was editing this ,the medical team wheeled Angel to ICU so they can monitor her closely. Please pray for the medical group taking care her.
