Help raise for Ariela's funeral etc
Donation protected
Ariela was a beautiful person in and out. I had the pleasure of meeting her and every time she was always smiling, with that beautiful smile she had. I know she's smiling right now, with that same beautiful smile ;D
We are asking for donations to help her family pay for funeral/burial costs etc. Every cent will go to her family in her honor.
Family of family is my family too!
STOP THE GUN VIOLENCE!!!
Two people were shot dead and three others seriously wounded in Toronto after a fight broke out at a party hosted by rapper Drake.
Police were called to the Muzik nightclub on Tuesday morning after shots were fired inside the bar and fighting spilled out into the street.
It was unclear whether, Drake who performed at OVO Fest on Monday, was at the club at the time of the shooting.
Last year, a man was shot near the same nightclub after the same festival.
"We are very lucky that this is not a larger body count, quite frankly," Toronto Deputy Police Chief Peter Sloly said at a new conference on Tuesday.
Police said the victims were a man and a woman in their 20s and 30s.
Officials believe there may be more injured victims who have not yet contacted the police.
It was not immediately clear what started the violence, or if police are seeking more than one suspect.
No arrests have yet been made.

In the attempt to help the Navarro family with funeral costs for Ariela Navarro, we began to really start to pay more attention to the growing issue of gun violence. That said, we hoped that this charity would not only help raise awareness and spread our voice, but to also spread Ariela’s story, and put an end to this violence. We can all agree on the fact that change starts with just one person, no matter how small. All of you have stepped up in helping toward making a difference in the world! It is much appreciated. This is truly devastating and we know that nothing we do, can help the pain and suffering that the Navarro family is going through. However, we hope that Ariela’s name will live on for many years and take part in ending the violence, that causes so many innocent people to lose their lives! According to an article, “America’s Top Killing Machine”, “firearms killed 32,251 people in the US in 2011”, and also stated that, “gun killings in 2015 will surpass the 33,561 deaths caused by car crashes,
( Adrienne Lafrance, 2015). According to another article titled “Gun Violence in Canada Is More Common Than You Think”, it is stated that “there are about 30 guns in Canada for every 100 people” and although gun violence is less rare in Canada opposed to the US, still “there were 1,092 violent crimes committed per 100,000 Canadians last year (Max Ehernfreund, 2014). This is really insane! Not to mention, we can’t even goto the movies without worrying that a shooting might occur. For example: the one that took place on July 2015 during the showing of the movie Train Wreck.. or Batman in 2012. Nor can a beautiful young woman, enjoy herself attending a Drake event or simply try to get home to safety!! When does it stop? Is preventing dangerous people from getting their hands on firearms possible? It has to be! That said, one of the many things we now hope to accomplish in Ariela’s name, is to enforce that this becomes possible! We need more gun control before more lives are taken! At this point, it should just be common sense! Please continue to help us make a difference and spread this awareness. Hopefully we can all make the world change for the better, one person at a time!
May Ariela Rest In Peace <3
