Fighting The Addiction Battle

Preferred Behavioral Health Group (PBHG) is a nonprofit organization that provides a wide continuum of prevention, education and treatment services and programs related to those living with a mental illness and/or addiction along with children and families struggling with issues that interfere with their general wellness and adjustment in their home, school or community. 
PBHG has focused providing exceptional behavioral health services for individuals of all ages since 1978. Preferred Behavioral Health Group (PBHG) is a nonprofit organization that provides a wide continuum of prevention, education and treatment services and programs related to those living with a mental illness and/or addiction along with children and families struggling with issues that interfere with their general wellness and adjustment in their home, school or community.  
PBHG’s mission is to deliver quality and compassionate behavioral health services to individuals and families all the time and has been doing so since 1978. Our values of compassion, honesty, accountability, integrity, cultural competence, and respect allow us to support our clients’ journey to wellness.


All funds raised will provide support services for young adults who have completed residential treatment and need support services when they return home. Funding will also support families of those who are in treatment.

PBHG is licensed by New Jersey Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services to provide services to treat addiction and mental illness. We are funded by grants and contracts from both private and public foundations/funding sources as well as the generosity of individuals and businesses. All donations are tax deductible.
