final expenses and repaires

As many of you know by now there was a fire at my grandmother's house a little more than a week ago. She suffered major burns over most of her body and had to be kept fully sedated for the past week due to the severity of her injuries and the amount of pain she would have been in had she woken up. In respect of her wishes, the decision to have the ventilator pulled and all other life supporting measures stopped, was made Saturday evening around 9pm surrounded by her family and loved ones. She passed quietly and peacefully around 230 am in the company of her brother and daughter. Unfortunately she did not have any life insurance set up for her final expenses and the insurance on the house had gone into lapse status just a few days prior to the fire. On behalf of our family I am asking that anyone who would like to donate to these expenses please do so here. We understand these are hard times for a lot of us even with out the added circumstances so we also understand if you cannot, but any help would be greatly appreciated. My grandmother was a beautiful soul that loved hard, grabbed life by the reins and made everything and adventure, fought fiercely for those she cared for, colored outside the lines, danced in the rain, played her music too loud, and ALWAYS had an opinion she wasn't afraid to voice.
