Fight for Five Melanoma Research
Donation protected
Maria Whitehead played field hockey for Wake Forest and graduated as a Natty Champ in 2003. In 2006, her very short life was taken from her as Melanoma overtook her body.
The Wake Forest field hockey team is running a Spikeball tournament in order to raise money for Melanoma research - all funds will be given to Wake Forest Baptist Hosptial.
We want to raise $5,000 in honor of Maria, who wore #5 on her back with pride as her time as a Deac.
Thank you already in advance for your help, support and love
For more on Maria and her incredible story and legacy, please read this piece by our very own, Heather Wiley.
