Flat Tire Theatre 2017-2018 Season

Donation protected
Flat Tire Theatre Company is proud to present their inaugural season of the 2017-2018 year. Due to the help of our funders and success of our 2017 Hollywood Fringe Festival production "CringeFest", we were able to devise a plan and premiere our first full season in Hollywood! Here is a sneak peak of that season:

"THIS GIRL LAUGHS, THIS GIRL CRIES, THIS GIRL DOES NOTHING"
This play written by Australian playwright Finegan Kruckemeyer and directed by Company members Bekkah Walach (Director) and Lauren Beausoleil (Assistant Director) tells the story of ten year old triplet sisters abandoned in the woods by their heartbroken father on a snowy night. The sisters separate, but remain connected, while facing fantastical, touching adventures: they wage wars, win wealth, make homes and travel in lighthouses under the sea. Seasons change, years pass, and they become grown women – eventually returning to the same but different place, reunited as family.

Performances: March 2nd at 8pm, March 3rd at 2pm and 8pm, March 9th at 8pm, and March 10th at 2pm and 8pm.
Location: Studio/Stage (http://www.stagecraftsllc.com/rent-studio-stage/

We are excited to present the LA premiere of this beautiful story. We have already paid for half of our venue at Studio/Stage, but we need to raise money for the remaining venue cost, paint, set, costumes, props, marketing, etc. Here is a sneak peek of our poster that is still in the design process: This Girl Laughs Poster (Work in Progress)

2018 HOLLYWOOD FRINGE FESTIVAL
We are producing a show again for the Hollywood Fringe Festival and are currently accepting show applications from our company playwrights and directors. We had huge success with "CringeFest" last year with your help, and we would love to do that again!

Dates: May 31, 2018-June 24, 2018

"BOY GIRL PARTY"
Written by Company Member Lindsay Kelly and directed by Co-Artistic Director Amanda Lloyd, "Boy Girl Party" centers on Hannah's birthday party as she tries to navigate growing up. Does popularity come at a cost of giving up your true self, or can a compromise be struck? And why do moms always interrupt at the worst times? This will be an INTERACTIVE show where audiences are encouraged to choose their own adventure - will they hang out in the living room, help Mom with cupcakes, or get locked in a closet for 7 Minutes in Heaven (but like, what do you even do)?

This show just closed this past weekend and we SOLD OUT our performances! We need to raise a bit of money to cover costs spent out of pocket. Check out photos from the production here: Boy Girl Party Photos

Our company has grown and so have our goals. We are currently in the process of applying to become 501c3. We plan on making this one of our last fundraisers so we can become a company that generates rather than relying on donations every year (Although we are extremely grateful and thankful!)

Please help us make our inaugural season come to life by donating whatever you can. Anything helps! Even sharing this GoFundMe Campaign!
