Flying Willie to Virginia + Saving

My family has been helping a Hurricane Harvey evacuee named Willie who was going through a time of homelessness in Corpus Christi before evacuating. We met Willie last week while volunteering at a Red Cross shelter and have been volunteering alongside him since. We purchased Willie some socks, a pair of shorts, t-shirts, a jacket and work boots. Willie is still needing pants (size 30 x 30), t-shirts (M) and a pair of tennis shoes (size 11). Willie is trying to make his way up to Virginia where his family lives. I plan on helping raise money to purchase a plane ticket for him as well as contributing financially myself. Once we raise money for a plane ticket, I would like to raise funds for him to stabilize Willie in Virginia so he can start his life again. He is a skilled certified plumber who is eager to get back on track in earning an income.

Thank you for your consideration and support! My family was drawn to Willie at the Red Cross shelter because he was so helpful and willing to work even though he himself was an evacuee. It was a privilege to hear his testimony and to see how God has been working in his life. If you're unable to give financially or with donations, a prayer for Willie would be much appreciated. We are in hopes to send him to Virginia sometime this upcoming week.
