We are Charlotte Maxwell and Ryan Devereaux. Thank you for taking the time to visit our page!
In May of this year we teamed up as ice dancing partners and have been training hard ever since. We are extremely blessed to be able to train in Canton, Michigan under the direction of Marina Zoueva (coach of Meryl Davis and Charlie White).
Our training program is extensive and costly. We train 4-6 hours a day on the ice and do 5 hours of off ice training every week. Between ice time, lessons, costumes, skates, travel, and competition fees our monthly expenses are more than $6000. We also work as skating coaches to help finance our training but currently we are not making enough to cover all of our expenses. That is why we are reaching out for donations to help alleviate our financial burden. No donation is too small to make a difference!
We feel very blessed to be skating with each other and have been best friends for the past 8 years. We both retired from competitive skating for several seasons and inspired one another to take the plunge back into the world of competitive ice dancing. Having the opportunity to skate with your best friend everyday is truly a blessing and we feel so lucky to have each other.
