A Better Future

Donation protected
Hi, all.  This is one of the hardest things I have ever had to write, but my niece and nephew tragically lost both their parents on December 27, 2014.

Our family is filled with grief, remorse, and heartache, as my sister, Christine, was such a fun-loving, kind person.  She was loved by her family, friends, and her students.  Above all, she was adored and loved by her beautiful children- my niece and nephew.

Christine and Richard are survived by their children, Christopher, 7, and Kaytlynn, 2.  They are very sweet children who love their parents very much. One of my sister's greatest joys was spending time with them.  Sadly, the children will never grow up with their parents, which is in itself, heartbreaking.

Christopher is 7 years old.   He enjoys sports, especially baseball.  He loves to play with Legos, and he has such an incredible imagination.  Because my sister was a teacher, she had summers to spend with her children.  One of the things they loved doing together was going to the beach.  Christopher enjoyed this time immensely. An endearing quality that Christopher possesses is that he always takes such good care of his baby sister.  He loves to play with her and make sure she's happy.

Kaytlynn is 2 years old.  She is a beautiful little girl. With her blond hair and bright blue eyes, Kaytlynn captivates the attention of others.  (My sister used to call her "Bright Eyes".)   Like most little girls, Kaytlynn loves "Frozen"  and Sophia the First.

Their lives will never be the same.  They will never get to see their parents again, and this loss is going to take a toll on them emotionally.  I feel the least we could do for them is help to ensure their future, in terms of being able to afford to go to college and make a nice life for themselves.  For the funeral, we asked that in lieu of flowers, for others to donate towards Christopher and Kaytlynn's future through this site.

We appreciate, in advance, the contributions that will be made towards their college funds.  Any funds donated will be put into a trust fund for them.

Thank you for listening to my story!
