Please donate to help me pay my father's final medical expenses and funeral expenses. My father is a veteran of World War Two and is an honoree of the National World War II Museum in New Orleans. He suffered polio in 1951, resulting in what is known as post-polio syndrome. He had been in declining health since July 2012, being hospitalized seven times (July 2012, August 2012, November 2013, January 2014, March 2015, October 2015, and November 2015) and been in occupational and physical rehabilitation twice (January- March 2014 and March-April 2015). He had been in home hospice care in between and since his last two hospitalizations and died in his sleep today, December 27, 2015. I am 61 and was laid off my fulltime job as a residential real estate title examiner in August 2015. I have worked as a 1099 contractor since September, but have only been working from home part-time, basically for half a day before hospice personnel showed up, doing only what can be done online since Dad has been in home hospice care. I have not had any work since December 10, 2015. Funds raised will be used to pay unpaid medical bills not covered by Medicare and to pay funeral and final expenses not covered by his life insurance. I want my Dad to get a funeral of which he would be proud and would greatly appreciate your generosity. Please donate. Thank you very much!
