FREQ.FEST.v.4.0 is 8bitLA's 4th annual chipmusic festival showcasing three nights of music made with obsolete video game and computer hardware. Taking place January 30th through February 1st 2015, FREQ.FEST.v.4.0 returns to LA's legendary DIY spot The Smell for three days of bleeps, bloops, and blips featuring one of its most ambitious lineups to date. Performers will include DANIMAL CANNON (NY), MEGA RAN (AZ/PA), SLIME GIRLS (CA), GRIMECRAFT (CA), CHALKBOARDS (TX), MEISHI SMILE (CA), and 16 other amazing acts and an aresenal of VJ's and DJ's. All of us at 8bitLA are extremely excited to bring this event to you come January. However, despite the performers and venue being secured, there are still several costs that need to be covered in order to make this event even better. Some of these include promotional materials, lighting, merchandise, live stream capabilities, and goodies for attendies such as last year's surprise Sunday night pizza party. 8bitLA is a not-for-profit organization run entirely by a group of enthuiastic volunteers, so we're going to your support in ensuring that this year's festival is able to be as successful and fun as possible.
