Ky's Sweet Heat Salsa

Hello All,
Looking for assistance to launch a food company that will bring to market a great tasting Salsa ...that does not back down from the heat!
BACKGROUND
I am bit of a "Chili-Head" with respect to making salsa, hot sauce and wing sauce. My wife thinks I have a very MacGyver approach to cooking. (See what's in the pantry and cook something with it!).
My "let's try that!" approach to taking ingredients and combining them into something unique & tasty ......has been a roller coaster of fun failures and tasty successes.
I have been creating a variety of home Salsa(s) for a number of years. The first Salsa I am tryng to bring to market has been tweaked/improved upon at least a dozen times.....to get it just right. (Will take the same approach on any food we bring to market).
Early variation batch(s) had been extremely Tasty and Hot!
Salsa TasteTesters! (Recent Batch #4)
My latest success in the Kitchen has been Ky's Sweet Heat Salsa. (Batch #5). (Some wimps have asked that I turn the heat down....no way!) Those that have tried my latest Salsa (Lucky you!) have asked that I bring my Salsa to market to be enjoyed by everyone.

Ky's Sweet Heat Salsa. (Batch #5)
OUR MASTER PLAN...try to take over the world!
Phase 1: Receive $5500 donation from super awesome Salsa Foodie type on Day 1. Move directly to Salsa production on Day 2. Sell out by Day 5. Sweet!......
Phase 1 (The real one): Dec 2014 - Feb 2015.
Over the next 3 months we will be launching a Salsa Company that will develop, test batch and properly prepare our first signature Salsa for market.
This will include but not be limited to: Incorporation, insurance, trademark, legal services, food sourcing (Local/National), State/Federal OGA licensing, label design, UPC , plant processing approval ,nutrient lab analysis and Co-Packer RFP (3-4 bid review/selection).
The fund amount of $5500 is a minimum cash flow requirement to setup company and obtain a minimum small batch run. Most Co-Packer operations will require rather large order requirements (150+ gallons). The Co-Packer Selection will be based entirely on the success of the funding achieved. (Hint - Hint...)
Phase Two (Product roll-out) (FEB 2015 -To Infinity and Beyond)
Upon the development of “shelf ready” Salsa - focus will be to market product via food markets, local restaurants, grocery outlets and specialty food expo(s).
The marketing start date will depend on Salsa production batch meeting our Q/C requirements.
Areas of focus to start will be one town at a time at the local level in the State(s) of IL and GA & an online store for national distribution.
Phase Three (2015 -Onward)
Additional products
- The family run company will be focused on Salsa but will be creating unique, great tasting products such as wing sauce , chili sauce and a vinegar pepper sauce. (Yummy)
Expand Brand
Food Tent/Catering
- Launch Branded Food Services Div to market food along with our signature sauces.
Food Competitions.
- Plan to participate in food competitions to expand food network.
Why should I donate?
If we do not reach our fund goal of $5500 -we cannot get our first batch out to our Salsa fans who donated!
1. You just read 2 pages about my project...and you are still here! The extra details I shared provides insight into the level of commitment , attention to detail and making it fun! Donate!
2. The company is focused on family. My wife is running the company. (CEO) I (COO) am handling operations. My daughter will be creating the brand image. Not bad for a 15 year old .... Donate!
3. The Salsa is a unique blend of ingredients that stands out from the pack. Those that have tried our Salsa like the flavor and the heat that comes with it. Some families have hidden our Salsa from each other….it’s that good! Donate!
4. If you’re a generous donator to our dream…you would get a jar of Salsa AND you will get a cool t-shirt with our company brand design created by my daughter. How cool is that! Donate!
5. Giving Back: From the beginning our company will be engaged to help others. Having been born with retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) I have been blessed that technology and skilled doctors were able to save my sight when first born (Get to see my wonderful family every day!).
To give back…the company will be donating to the LDS Charities Vision Care (ROP) Program. http://ldscharities.org/articles/romania-vision-care?lang=eng.
As part of our business plan ..a certain % of revenue from every jar of Salsa sold by our company will be donated to this charity. When someone buys the Salsa they help! Donate!
Thank you for your time and appreciate the support. Donate Today and let's make some Salsa!!!!
Regards,
Ky
