Blitz's Broken Bones & Surgery Fund

Hi, my name is Blitz! I am a 1 year old, male, Shih-Tzu with a great personality and would love to have a stable, safe and loving home. I was found down by the Grand River by 2 people who didn't have a home either. They were very kind and loving to me. When they found me I was bleeding, had road rash and had several broken bones. They took me to the Grand Rapids Michigan Fire Department, who called our local Animal Control. They took me to a Veterinarian for an exam and now I am at Kelley's Heart-to-Heart Pet Adoption and Rescue Center in Walker, Michigan. I am unable to stand on my own and I was in a lot of pain, but the wonderful doctors and technicians at Kelley's Heart-to-Heart are taking great care of me. They said I will need to have surgery to fix the multiple fractures you can see in my X-ray above and that my extensive surgeries, medications, and extended hospital care will cost around $2,000.
