Help save 6 colonies of Honey Bees

Wild Mitten HoneyBee Co-op needs your help to save 6 colonies of honeybees. We've received calls from families around West Michigan who have had swarms move into their homes. Our goal is to safely remove the bees and put them in bee-friendly gardens in and around Grand Rapids.

The money we raise will be used to purchase boxes and frames and other equipment to give the bees new homes. You can help by becoming a member, buying a Wild Mitten T-shirt, or donating a few bucks!

Here are the co-op memberhip options:

The Worker Bee - $25 - 1 lb. of honey and 10% discount on future honey purchases.

The Drone - $75 - 5 lbs. of honey and 12% discount on future honey purchases.

The Queen - $120 - 10 lbs. of honey and 15% discount on future honey purchases. 

You'll also have an opportunity to come out to our community apiary, visit the bees and learn all about beekeeping. 

Honey and shirts will be available on September 12th at 1 pm during our "Milk and Honey" Ice Cream Social.  If your unable to make it to the event, we will personally deliver honey to homes within a 30 mile radius of Grand Rapids.
