Dad's Mouth Surgery

My father's name is Randy- he's a 45 year old single father of three. He also has epilepsy. Epilepsy is a neruological disorder which affects the nervous system- it's also known as a seizure disorder. He's lived with this since before I was born, but it's taken it's toll.
The medication my father takes to keep his seizures in check has, over the years, worn down his teeth's enamel to the point that they've all become broken and chipped, and have grown soft- he's constantly getting infections in them, causing severe pain. He decided earlier this year he would get dentures, and have his teeth removed. He went through the process, going to the Medical University of South Carolina's Dental Clinic upon being referred there by another party, getting the molds for the dentures made and what have you. The dentures themselves were paid for by the same party who referred him to the University, but just before it came time for the surgery to remove my father's teeth, this person decided they didn't want to help anymore.
His dentures are made and ready, but we have to come up with the money for the surgery- nearly $3000.
I've been job hunting for the last year now, but with no success, and my father is unable to work. We have enough trouble making rent and getting groceries as it is, and my father's Medicare won't cover the surgery.
We're asking for at least $2800 in order to pay for my father's surgery- his teeth need to be removed, and there is no saving any of them. One is currently causing him severe pain and discomfort.
I know $2800 is a lot, but I'd like for the money to be raised as soon as possible. My dad deserves a lot more, but getting this done would be a great start.
