On October 5, 2014, my wife Kelly and I got into a car accident, and it's all gone downhill from there.
Even though it was clearly not our fault (the other driver ran a red light), the other driver's insurance company has denied our claim. Our car is not driveable, and Kelly injured her back, making her unable to go to work while she heals. We had to pay out of pocket for a rental car so we could still get around, and we thought we would be reimbursed. Now our rent money is gone.
We are asking for donations to cover our rent, bills, and other cost of living so that we don't end up homeless. We are also hoping to find a replacement vehicle so that once Kelly's back is healed, she can commute to work.
