Orphan Cat Colony Assistance
Donation protected
A sweet elderly gentleman loved cats. He passed away leaving roughly 25 cats in south Austin Texas needing homes. All but 1 are fixed. He passed without a will and his property is in probate. The heirs want the cats out and our clock is ticking. Once the property is legally theirs, the fate of this kind man's loving legacy is dire.
These cats were well cared for. They were this little old man's family, his whole world.
These are good looking healthy cats in all ages, sizes and colors. A few are friendly, some are friendly once they know you, most are wary but with love and understanding can become more social with humans, some are friendly ferals and some are wild ferals. All need homes - indoor homes, outdoor homes - homes with people who know that not all cats are meant to be lapcats, homes with folks who understand that some cats do not want much human interaction and homes that know that other cats are just scared and lonely. Just homes.
At the moment we are focused on feeding and relocation. There is one big pale orange cat who will need eye surgery and even though all but one of the cats are fixed, there are a couple needing some medical attention.
Donations will go towards cat food, flea medicine and medical costs. And know that each donation no matter how big or small is appreciated so much.
Please see our Facebook page : https://www.facebook.com/ColonyOfCatsNeedHomes for updates and a plethora of photos and bios on each cat.
