Hey All,
My Kid Ace started this GoFundMe campaign last year to help raise funds to cover our expenses.
As a stay at home Dad working from home as an editor, I have had about 8 years of less than usual earnings, which has lead to some very lean times, and the risk of being homeless. The Economic Crash certainly didn't help. It wiped out most of my back-up career fields and work. True story.
Ace and the Ninja Clan (my Kids and their friends refer to themselves as "The Ninja Clan", named after our internet router), started this GoFundMe as our house is their safe house. We have kids come from all over Wisconsin, Illinois, etc. to be here. This house is very important to them and they wanted to do what they could to help out.
We have had incredible response from their peers via Tumblr, etc.
But kids can only do so much. We need your help.
Those of you who know me, who have been here, whom I have worked with, worked for, etc. know I prefer to keep this low key for the safety and privacy of the kids that come here, and myself. I don't want to draw any more attention to us than necessary.
Suffice to say, they are good kids, no drama, no drugs, no alcohol, no problems. I've had as many as 30+ here at a time. Seriously. I've had 12 here this weekend.
Those of you who know me know I work very hard and I'm always there for you whether a place to crash, tech support, helping find work, moving, a meal, a shoulder to cry on, etc. I need you to help me now.

We've been at this for over a year now, and I can only work so many hours before I drop dead. Please help.

SO YOU MAY REMEMBER A WHILE BACK WHEN I ALMOST LOST MY HOUSE BECAUSE OF MONEY ISSUES? WELL YEP THATS A THING AGAIN
quick overview: my house (the Ninja Clan) is a safe house for all the kids who can make it here. we don't turn anyone down and don't ask for anything in return. if i lose my house, tons of kids will lose a home/ a safe place to be/ an escape. don't donate for me, donate for the people who need safety.
