GABBY'S FIGHT

One of the most amazing people I have been blessed with knowing recently received devastating news, her 19 year old daughter was diagnosed with cancer.  I desperately wanted to do something to help.  I felt that this would be a good place to begin.  

Gabby is 19 and lives with her mom Shelby, while taking classes at the community college near her home.  She also works part-time to help out at home.   When Gabby should be enjoying the carefree life of a nineteen year old, she instead is diagnosed with cancer. 

We all know how strong Gabby is and we know she will succeed and win her fight against the monster we call Cancer, we just want to help her with the journey she has begun.  It will not be easy we know, but if we can help with some of the expenses during this time it will be one less burden to worry about.

Gabby's own words

Not every 19-year-old expects to hear the words "You have cancer", but then again, I've never been like most other 19-year-olds. I have stage 2 Hodgkin's Lymphoma, and this will be the fight of my life, no doubt. I've come to terms with the fact that my life will forever be shaped by this journey. It will be hard, but I know that I will come out on top. Everyone always says how strong I am and I think what you need more than strength sometimes is resilience, and an awesome support system. I deeply appreciate every single person who has sent positive thoughts and words my way; you are all a part of this fight as well, and I can't thank you enough for that. This is our journey, and I aim to keep you all informed of the process, through the good and the bad. Now let's do this.
