Gabrielle Benson Fund

Over the last 20 years of teaching when ever we purchased something for her classroom, or for the school, when asked Gabe would reply with  the Benson family fund paid for it.  With Gabe's passing I wanted to do something good for the schools she loved so much.  so welcome to the Gabrielle Benson Fund.  I want to be able to give money to the schools in the San Fernando Valley that can use a bump.  weather it is to pay for cleaning the office, balls for the playground, or maybe to help pay the water bill. The small DCS schools can always need help.  If any of you know a teacher you know even though they are underpaid, they still buy supplies for their classrooms out of their pockets, or do a fund raiser to help pay for them.  I hope that we can raise a lot of money to help the small schools even a little bit.  I know in my heart that Gabe would like this idea, I just wish she didn't have to pass on for me to have it.
