Garth Parr Cancer Healing Fund

Dear Friends and Family,

Some of you know that Garth Parr has been quite sick and unable to work for the past several months.  Last week he was diagnosed with colorectal cancer which has metastized to his liver.  

I'd like to take a minute to thank all of Garth and Ange's friends who have offered assistance and support over the past few  months.  It appears that Garth has quite a road to recovery ahead of him and he will need the help, support and love of everyone who knows him or of him to get him through this.

Now that we have a confirmed diagnosis, we are relying on a team of professionals to guide us from here on, including a General Practitioner and Oncologist in addition to the following:
Acupuncturist - Joe Odom
Ayurvedic Specialist - Prashanti DeJager
Judy Aizuss, emotional healing
Wendy Read, Master Herbalist who's been crafting and prescribing cannabis remedies for more than forty years. 

Although medical insurance covers most of the expenses for diagnostics, the upcoming blood transfusion and scans, it does not cover any alternative treatments and the expenses incurred therein.  

The need for support is twofold and here is why we are asking for your help.  First, the studio where Garth and Ange are living is not a good place for him to get well mostly because the bed is in a loft whch is difficult to access and the bathroom is outside. They need to move to a something affordable, clean and quiet close to Fairfax.  Any offers here are greatly appreciated. 

Secondly, the money raised will cover Garth's living expenses for the next six months and cover the practitioners mentioned above and therapeutic and holistic medical expenses. 

Please, please help if you can and please share this.  We need Garth to be well and Garth needs our help to get well.
