I'm in need of help to raise £14,000 to enable me to train at my dream college, Performers College. I'm currently working 3 jobs Monday - Sunday to get some money together to make my dream a reality. My mother was tragically diagnosed with a brain tumour and my father a full time carer which means they can't afford to fund me.
I have been lucky enough out of thousands of applicants to be awarded 1 of 75 places at the prestigious Performers College. Unfortunately the government does not fund my course and I have to fund the course myself. It breaks my heart that after all the years of pushing to be the best I can be, I can't go to the college I worked all my life to get in to because of money.
Performing is the only thing I think about. The feeling I get in the studio, on stage, even when listening to a song is indescribable and I have never wanted to do anything else since as long as I can remember. Going to Performers College, I know I will get the highest level of training and become such a versatile performer that it will give me the best chance of becoming employable in such a hard and competitive industry.
I need to raise £14,000 to cover my costs and the entirety of funds I can raise will go solely to my college tuition. I have lucky enough to have been sponsored £10,000 by anonymous donors so need to raise £4,000 for my final term!
The people who support me will see the difference through my performances. The training at Performers College is like no other and in my opinion the best in the country. The dancers perform with so much passion, intensity and complexity that it makes them simply irresistible to watch. The college has excellent connections and therefore will give me the best opportunity to be seen and exposed to agencies and guest teachers fresh in the industry.
