Gerald LaCrosse's Huge Loss...Help!

Isn’t it incredible how life can change in an instant?
Unfortunately, Gerald LaCrosse’s life changed in an instant, and that change has just been incredibly sad.
Gerald LaCrosse (my uncle and Jerry's father) is an amazing man.
He had a dream 34 years ago. That dream was to start his own business. That dream...his family business...his livelihood and his family's main source of income...all came crashing down on Monday, June 11th 2018 and left him critically injured with internal bleeding.
An SUV suddenly ran off the road at approximately 7:40 am on Route 9 and shockingly plowed into Gerald's beloved hot dog stand, Der Wunder Wiener, while he was inside! The impact of the crash left him pinned and trapped under heavy equipment.
Viewing the crash photos below, it's so hard and painful to imagine him inside the smashed structure at that time. We're so grateful to the emergency response team, police and others who helped to free him so he could be airlifted to the hospital right away.
He is currently still in critical condition, undergoing multiple surgeries due to the internal bleeding and many other serious injuries. We're all so thankful for the support of the community, his family, friends and neighbors during this difficult time.

We created this campaign because Gerald is one of the kindest, most generous and hard-working people you'll ever meet. He is a loving husband, father and grandfather who planned to continue working as long as possible before eventually passing the business on to his children and grandchildren.
We're praying for his recovery. Once he is stable, the last thing we want him to have to deal with is the financial stress of his family's lost wages, the complete destruction and devastation of his business, damage and/or loss of his car, as well as various out of pocket medical expenses, etc.
