Genital Hygiene for the Homeless

Donation protected
Stetson University's Student Homeless Coalition (SHC) is raising money to buy much-needed hygiene products and donate them to shelters in our community. The project is directed by Brianna Burrowes (SHC President) and Dr. Rajni Shankar-Brown (SHC Faculty Advisor) as part of the coalition’s efforts to spread awareness about and help address homelessness in DeLand.
Hygiene is a crucial part of self-confidence. It is a set routine that each of us must maintain for our health and to prevent the occurrence of disease and infection. One of the most important parts of your body that must be kept clean are your genitals. It's an area that, if unkept, can be a catalyst for the spread of infection. The regimen for feeling fresh is simple, yet hundreds of men and women in shelters don't have access to sanitary wipes, powders, and menstrual products to feel confident. To combat this deficiency, I have created this account to provide shelters in my community with much needed hygiene products.
All proceeds will be used to buy hygiene products to be donated to The Neighborhood Center of West Volusia and Family Renew Community Inc in Deland Florida.

So far, you've donated:
96 individual pads
128 individual tampons
6 bottles of powder
23 packages of wipes
