A Chance for Dan

Please help us give Dan a chance to get his life back on track. Dan is a selfless person, who has lived his adult life in the service of his country and his people. He is a humanitarian, A War Veteran, A friend, A brother and a Hero. Dan served a commitment in the United States Navy seeing deployments in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, both as a serviceman and as a Contractor. After his time in service, he moved back home where he worked as a volunteer EMT and Search and Rescue in the Pacific North West, as well as working with local marine mammal and animal shelter services.
Dan is one of those unique individuals that is a lover of all things and of life it’s self. He is the type that would give everything to help a friend or even a stranger in need. However, due to events that have been out of his control, stemming from PTSD and a service connected Injury, which lead to an honorable discharge and Service Connected Disability, Dan has had a run of hard times. In the past few years, Dan has faced homelessness three times, along the way he and his companion, Ze'evah have found ways to persevere, however, he has reached the point where he finally needs help.
Some of us, that are his closest friends have rallied around him and are doing everything we can to enable him to have access to the resources he needs for counseling, medical and personal care, as well as being there to listen when he needs to talk, and help give him counsel when he is having decisions to make.
We are asking others as well, to get involved, to help Dan get his life back on track, and to get things in order so he can get back into the field of helping people out. We would like to ask you if you could, give whatever you can, to help Dan to take care of the financial issues that have stemmed from these past few years, so that he can be free of that burden and move on to getting his life re-established in his new home state.
So please, however you can support him, it is much appreciated! If you cannot help financially, please share this with your friends and family and get the word out and even reach out to him, if you know him, even a kind word of encouragement can go a long way with him, as he takes the steps to getting his life back on track.
