100 miles in 4 days for Gtr Manchester's Hospices
Donation protected
Hi there, I'm Martin Foster (under-slept dad of two) and I'm fundraising on behalf of Greater Manchester's 10 charitable Hospices:
Bolton Hospice, Bury Hospice, Derian House Children's Hospice, Dr Kershaw's Hospice, East Cheshire Hospice, Francis House Children's Hospice, Springhill Hospice, St Ann's Hospice, Wigan & Leigh Hospice & Willow Wood Hospice.
I'll be running 100 miles over 4 days (29 Mar-1 Apr 2022), visiting each adult and children's Hospice along the way - 40km a day (ugh)!

Our precious Hospices provide specialist palliative care for people with life-limiting illnesses, at all stages of their illness, ensuring they have the best quality of life possible. Hospices work hard to meet the unique physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of people at the most vulnerable time of their lives, and to help maintain their dignity.
Hospices also recognise that it’s a difficult time for relatives, carers and friends - and provide support for them, too.
Our adult and children's Hospices have never needed our support more. Only a third (or less) of Hospices' care costs are paid for by the NHS; Greater Manchester's 10 Hospices therefore have to raise approx £20m a year (over £50K a day) between them to keep their vital services going - and that's rising every year.
There are many ways to support your local Hospice - but please feel free to start now by sponsoring me! :-)
