Send Linda to the Puppetry Conference!
I've been accepted into the 2013 National Puppetry Conference at the Eugene O'Neill! Help me go by contributing to the tuition, due on April 28.
I won a scholarship from the Terry and Taylor Fator fund, "intended to financially and emotionally support puppet artists with a 'never say never' spirit". But I still need to raise the remaining balance of $1175 for tuition and board.
The National Puppetry Conference is an 11 day intensive workshop in June in Waterford, CT. "Participants collaborate with nationally and internationally renowned puppet artists, and each other, to produce innovative plays and productions that push the boundaries of puppetry's definitions," culminating in a weekend of performances open to the public on June 15 & 16.
Every donation no matter how small helps, and in return gets a big hug, gratitude for years to come, and the promise of more puppet shows and participatory community art events made so much better by my time at the O'Neill. I've also got some thank-you gifts ready to send out!
