Down payment on a house

We have been in the same house for 23 years and we just got told that we need to start try to find somewhere else to live as they will be distroying our home and be building a new apartment building we thought we had a year but it came a little faster then we thought. we talk to a loan officer today and he said that if we come up with 9 thousand dollars to get $200,000 dollar loan. we wil then have a new beginning. My family and i are very involved in the community we have the blessing box on williams hwy and we help the local homeless. we also help people that are in need. so we are asking to get help from our beautiful community
