I am a retired prison deputy warden, short story author, and mental health freelance consultant related to prison difficulties for the mentally ill. This book is not about prison per se, its about the human struggles within. It's about inadequate care and standards of care.
I reveal mental health findings during the ACLU class action lawsuit and connect the dots on how this impacted medical and mental health services. Read this book and you don't have to go through the class action lawsuit to get details.
I have helped families for no charge 4 years; in order to help them deal with their sons & daughters who are mentally ill and in jail, prison or probation / parole.
I am an advocate for the seriously mentally ill and I am writing a book on true events to educate the public on mentally ill persons inside prisons.
Our focus is on out patient treatment, self help groups, jail diversion programs and proposing reform sentencing laws for those mentally challenged when they make contact with law enforcement.
Hoping to work with community criminal system sources and work to reduce the incarceration of the mentally ill that incllude PTSD and Brain Injury Trauma victims from the war and other traumatic incidents in their lives.
I need money to publish this book. I am retired and can no longer afford to pay out of pocket. In return, if published (yes it will) I will give 50 % of royalties to non-profit community mental health groups. I want to give back to the community and help others.
I thank you for your contributions in advance as I will look forward to publishing this well-worth book of awareness and information for families
This phenomena impacts the young, the old, the veterans and the non-veterans. We need to let them know they are still part of the family as well as the community. We are all family
