Shave 4 Cancer Research
Spende geschützt
When I was in sixth grade my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. I watched her go through chemo, lose her hair, but eventually beat it. Fast forward a few years, my dad started raising money for donations to the Eagle's Cancer Telethon. Who in turn takes all the donated money and uses it to help fund cancer research at the Mayo Clinic, Hormel Institute for Cancer Research and U of M Cancer Research. I watched my dad hit his goal each time, one time pulling in over $2,000 dollars himself in donations. In doing so he would shave his head and beard.
I love a challenge, and I love my mom and what she has done for me even more. So I decided to challenge my dad in seeing who can get the most money in donations. I set a goal of $3,000 dollars and in reaching that goal, I will shave my head. I have some other goals and more information on www.shavesupalla.com . All donations will go to the Eagle's Cancer Telethon in January.
So lets get donating…I don't like to lose, but for this cause I'm willing too. Well at least off the top. Thank you in advance. Remember to live for today, because tomorrow it can all be taken away.
