Hammon Volunteer Fire Department

The Hammon Volunteer fire depart like many other departments rely on donations for funding that allows them to fight fires that threaten our communities in Western Oklahoma. The month of April 2018 has been especially brutal. Hammon has assisted surrounding towns/counties with the massive wildfires as well as responding to local fires. Resources are spread thin between fuel costs and vehicle repairs. To run these trucks continuously for 12+hours they need large amounts of fuel, constant air filter changes,  frequent new tires  etc. in addition they are frequently damaged by the nature of the job of fighting wild land fires. The guys on the line need good working gear to protect them from flames and smoke inhalation so damaged gear must be replaced. Any amount that can be donated goes to keeping the trucks running and keeping up the equipment that keeps our guys safe when they’re on the line.  Thank you for all of your support!
