1min Video to Support Craft Artists
Free 1 min Video Online Course to Support Craft Artists’ and Designers Creative Lives!
Personal Story
Hi, I’m Yukiko Sato . I came to USA from Japan in 1994. I started selling TESAGE (purse in Japanese) through the online since 2000.
I’m a tech geek craft designer unlike other artists I would say. I programmed an ice cream computer game at age 10 before Windows 95 come out. Now I share my love as a volunteer online teacher to teach how to use computer, including Skype, Google Maps and Gmail etc. via Google+Hangtouts with isolated seniors.
I troubleshooted SquareUp credit card reader to other artists at High-End Craft Shows . Then, a lot of craft artists start asking me how I’m selling TESAGE, using online. I told them that I’m selling my TESAGE products on Amazon.com , Etsy.com, Zazzle.com and 2 other online platforms with much more profit than craft shows. They are shocked! They started sharing with me their financial issues.
Here is the voices from artists:
There are a lot of Online Marketing classes out there, but none of them are fits the craft artists need. They need an education for online selling tips by the person knows the american craft world to save their artist lives ASAP. I contacted several web companies to do this project together, however they declined it due to the low ROI.
I decided to make this project happen from my studio by myself.
I believe that paying forward to needy people in the business will be the best business model near future.
So, I started to send an online marketing tips eNewsletter to all craft artists from the shows I participated to use the skill to generate more sales from online. But I sent only a few last 6 months. I want to sent bi-weekly bases to share all my useful online marketing tips. That`s why I need your Help!
The ‘Free Online Course’ Project
Free Online Course helps artists go more public and expand the healthy community among the craft industry. I’d like to share online marketing tips with craft designers and artists.
All procedures take at least 14 hours to prepare each webinar:
Creating PPT slides (6 hrs)
Creating contents for slides (3 hrs)
Free Webinar at BigMarker (2 hrs)
Follow-up email and eNewsletter (2 hrs)
Answering FAQ (1-2 hrs)
It’s time consuming process to start this project, but feedbacks from artists of my friend make me Big Smile (^-^)
The Purpose of ContributionGenerous contribution $17,770 helps me to offer Free Online Courses that save craft artists’ lives. It helps them to keep continued creating the great works without worrying about the financial issues.
Now, over 300 artists from craft shows are able to connect with me and are waiting for this project.
My father always say to me that ” If you keep feeding people /giving an Onigiri (Japanese rice ball) when they ask, they never learn how to live without your help, you need to train then to raise rice field instead”
I would like to teach the online marketing courses for craft artists to promote their creation to sell more.
