Our Story

In 2013 Madison J decided to make colorful bracelets using, 30 beads and a string™. It started off as a hobby. Madison J loved to make bracelets for herself, family, and friends. Her goal was to make them smile. As a family we thought this would be a great opportunity to donate Happy Bracelets to children in need of a smile. That’s when The Happy Bracelet Project was created.


As a family we have donated Happy Bracelets to Ronald McDonald House, Casa De Los Ninos, The Smaratian's Purse, The Gospel Rescue Mission and to homeless children.

 September 2017 we  donated 1,000  Happy Bracelets to three elementary schools in Houston, Texas for the children affected by Hurricane Harvey.

December 2017 we donated 300 Happy Bracelets to the children of Puerto Rico Boys and Girls Club that were affected by Hurricane Maria.

February 2018 the children of Mariposa Elementary made Happy Bracelets for the  at La Mesita Family Shelter.

February 2018 we donated 100 Happy Bracelets to America’s Children Association for the foster care kids “Just For Me Bags”.

February 2018 La Mesita Family Shelter and LDS Youth Group helped make 300 Happy Bracelets for the students at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.

June 2018 we donated 200 Happy Bracelets to Luke Airman Family Readiness Center. Those bracelets were given to the children who's parent(s) are deployed or actively serving in the military.

December 2018 Partnership with It's Beyond Us to give 500 Happy Bracelets to the children at Union Rescue Mission in Los Angeles, California.

January 2019 Partnership with Hilton Garden Inn Scottsdale, Arizona sales team. Donated 325 Happy Bracelets to Ronald McDonald House.

January 2019 Partnership with Kyrene School District Student Superintendent Counsel Representative. 50 Happy Bracelets were donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

January 2019 Partnership with Renaissance Square Marketing Department. 300 Happy Bracelets were donated to Arizona Foster Care for their Caring Kids Bag.

February 2019 The Happy Bracelet Project sent 100 Happy Bracelets to the children of Wilmington, North Carolina after the rebuilding of Hurricane Florence.

February 2019 Partnership with Kyrene de la Mariposa 2nd grade class to donate 50 Happy Bracelets to Arizona Children's Association.

March 2019 The Happy Bracelet Project donated 50 Happy Bracelets to the siblings at Ronald McDonald House in Phoenix, Arizona.

April 2019 Partnership with the Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness Coalition to make Happy Bracelets with the community family fun day.

April 2019 Easter Community Outreach Event with It's Beyond Us at The Union Rescue Mission in Los Angeles, California.

May 2019 Partnership with the Boys & Girls club in Gilbert, Arizona. Donated 500 Happy Bracelets to The Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child.

August 2019 Partnership with Chick-Fil-A for Kids Night. Community bracelet making event.

August 2019 Chick-Fil-A Spirit Night Community Event.

September 2019 Chick-Fil-A Spirit Night Community Event.

October 2019 Partnership with Boys & Girls club. Donated 100 Happy Bracelets to The Samaritans's Purse.

October 2019 Partnership with Kids And Cars to raise awareness.

November 2019 Partnership with Boys & Girls Club. Donated 100 Happy Bracelets to The Samaritan's Purse.

December 2019 The Happy Bracelet Project sent 50 Happy Bracelets to the children of Wilmington, North Carolina after the rebuilding of Hurricane Florence.

December 2019 Sent 250 Happy Bracelets to North Carolin Samaritan's Purse Distribution Center.

February 2020 Partnership with Kyrene de la Mariposa 2nd grade class to donate 50 Happy Bracelets to Arizona Children's Association.

March 2020 The Happy Bracelet Project donated lunches and Happy Bracelets to children at Hermoso Park in Phoenix, Arizona.

We're asking for donations towards our goal of $10,000 to continue our mission.
