Adultosaur is clearly the #1 Swiftie.
Unfortunately, Adultosaur has shared that she will be unable to attend the 1989 tour because adulting is hard, and being a dinosaur is expensive.
I propose that we each chip in a few dollars so that Adultosaur can attend the concert (probably in Boston), because the joy brought to all of our lives by being Adultosaur is tremendous, and it would be nice to bring a little joy to Adultosaur. Any extra will be used to get a nicer ticket or bring a friend/leash holder/nacho getter (and maybe buy nachos.) (Or a t-shirt if they have any that fit dinosaurs.)

$250? Isn't that a lot?
Not really. The nosebleed seats start around $80 (plus tax), then throw in parking. I'm not sure any of those will be left. The mid-range seats start at ~$105-$145 each (plus tax), and go up from there. I'm not sure how long it'll take for us to raise the funds, and I want to make sure she can afford a ticket that's available by the time we have enough money to buy a ticket. (The most expensive floor seats are over $5,000 each, so $250 is pretty low.) GoFundMe and their payment service also take about 7% of the total, and I wanted to make sure there was enough left. Also, it wouldn't suck if she got to take a friend, have a snack, and maybe buy a poster or something, right? Any extra raised will go toward having an extra-nice evening.
What if we don't hit $250?
GoFundMe lets you have whatever amount you DO raise, so Adultosaur will get that amount, and hopefully it will be enough that Dorian can make up the difference for a ticket. (Don't tell Adultosaur this is the plan; she gets weepy for a dinosaur.)
How long is this going to go on?
There's no deadline for GoFundMe campaigns; that, the "no matter how much is raised, she gets the money" rule, and the "you can totally raise money for someone who isn't you" rule were why I picked this site as opposed to the other crowd-funding options. As soon as we can buy the ticket(s?) we will, since it's time-sensitive. There are two shows in MA, so we have a good shot!
