Zachary Stone Humphrey Expense
Donation protected
Zachary Stone-Humphrey age 17 was very badly burned on 11/16/14 at his home in Springfield, VT. Zachary has deep 2nd and 3rd degree burns to over 50% of his body (Arms, Hands, Abdomin, neck, back, face, ears, and legs) Zachary was airlifted from Springfield Hospital in Vermont to Bringham and Women's Medical in Boston, MA and then transfered to Shriners Children's Hospital also in Boston, MA where he will stay in the Burn Units ICU for a minimum of 3 months undergoing extremely painful wound care and several surgeries including skin graphing, and when possible a tracheotomy. Zachary's mother Melissa is a single mother that is now staying in Boston. There is limited housing options or hospital options so she is staying mostly in a very small visitors lobby outside the burn unit when not in with Zachary.
Sabrina Humphrey, Melissa's daughter is taking responsibility for two households and has become the sole provider for both households containing children and bills. Not only is Sabrina working and providing she is also driving back and forth between Vermont and Boston 3-5 times a week. Which is very costly.
Just one one of the medications Zachary is on cost $400 dollars for each dose. He takes this up to 8 times a day, but it is imperitive that he receives this medicine to stay functioning.
I encourage you to donate anything you can including love, prayer, and support to this family in their time of need as this is going to be a very long, and expensive journey. Let's come together to make the financial aspect of this journey a little easier to handle.
On on behalf of the Families involved - THANK YOU
