Cats and Guinea Pig Medical Fund

My name is Kate. I'm an independent contractor and an animal lover, caretaker to a pair of kitties and a trio of guinea pigs. Recently, both my cats have come down with chronic illnesses and one of my guinea pigs has gotten sick as well. Any one of them would be bad on its own, but with all three happening simultaneously, and my work slowing as the weather turns colder, my husband and I have run out of options for caring for them, and had to launch this campaign.
This is Dee. In the spring of this year she started to have seizures. In the course of trying to find out what was causing them my vet discovered that she has hyperthyroidism. She was put on medication for it but we quickly discovered that she is allergic to it and had to go off of it. The next step for her is to get radioiodine therapy. This is a costly treament around $1400. It has a 98-99% success rate of curing cats of hyperthroidism.
Dee is steadily losing weight due to her condition. She also over grooms and currenlty has no fur on her belly and legs.
The seizures continue to happen and we continue to not know the cause. More costly testing is needed.
This is a video of one of Dee's seizures that I took to show to the vet. This one lasted six minutes but I cut the video down. Its extremely upsetting. I dont recommend playing it.
This is Win$ton. He has been having chronic diarrhea. He went through a round of probiotics then a round of medication and more probiotics. Nothing has worked. Some times it gets a little better but not much. He is a very unhappy kitty right now. I have started to eliminate certain ingredients from his diet to see if food may be a cause. With his condition his apetite comes and goes and he has lost a considerable amount of weight. The poor guy is skin and bones. So I am inclined to feed him what ever he will eat. The next step for Win$ton is an ultrasound.
This is Meryl. She has been having difficulty deficating. When ever she goes she makes very unhappy pig noises. Meryl has gone through a round of medication but the problem still persists. The next step for her is an xray to see if there are any obstructions.
All these procedures add up fast. Having one pet sick is one thing but to have three at the same time is something else all together. My husband and I just cannot afford all of these procedures.
The amount asked for may seem high. The radioiodine treatment eats into most of that amount. As of now I don't know how much everything else will cost. I also had to factor in the fees that gofundme charges. When I find out the amount for the other procedures I will update the campaign and lower the amount asked for if necessary.
So I am reaching out to my community for help. Any amount donated either small or large will help us get the care for our pets that they need. We love these fur babies to pieces and just want the best for them
