Help Ariel fight Leukemia

Donation protected
It was supposed to be a normal Christmas of 2016 with the usual festive activities all planned out until 9-year-old Ariel Oghoro took ill. Initial diagnosis and treatment all proved abortive as she only grew worse and managed to battle on...only just.
A trip to another paediatrician eventually delivered the blow that shook the family and indeed everyone in the know of Ariel's seemingly deteriorating condition to their very foundation.
It was ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia), Type L2. Diagnosed at the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital, Rivers State, Nigeria. With transfusions amounting to over 30 pints of blood, induction and consolidation phases of chemotherapy, this 9-year old was subjected to gruesome pains (physical and emotional) well beyond her years. In spite of all, continued to battle on.
Ariel's mum, Ufuoma , a single parent who couldn't help but stay by Ariel weeks on end through this ordeal was eventually forced to forfeit her job due to continuous absence from work. Ariel has missed almost a session in school and even her brother had to change to a much cheaper school to help keep up with the expenses.
"The time, money spent, intense prayers and treatment eventually paid off, she had recovered, all tests indicated she was in remission, she was returning to school to try and make up for the lost time during treatment, Ariel was totally free from Leukemia, this is a miracle, and at last everything will return back to normal"......... at least this what we all thought. But unfortunately, a relapse occured!
The financial struggle in keeping up with the huge cost of chemotherapy and care for Ariel is yet to be over as treatment is to continue with double dose of what she took previously while planning for a permanent solution.
A BMT (Bone Marrow Transplant) and all the associated treatment plans that accompany this procedure has been recommended as a cure for Ariel's illness at a reputable medical facility in India. This procedure is expected to be completed within 5 to 6 months and will cost $50,000. Ufuoma cannot afford this and needs our help to get Ariel back to normal life, and catch up with almost a session lost in school.
Your donations can save this smart and industrious 9-year-old bead artist, with a dream to become a medical doctor, and help her lead a normal life again like kids her age.
We hope to commence treatment by August, 2017.
Every child is your child, together we can help Ariel complete this procedure.
Thank you for standing with Ariel.
