On March 8th, Donnie started to experience feelings of hot flames shooting throughout his body, unexplained fatigue, numbness/tingling, weakened eye-sight, and loss of use of his arms or legs at differing times.

After being seen by 5 different medical professionals who could not diagnose him and a neurologist downtown Chicago, it was a specialist who finally diagnosed Donnie with Late-Stage Lyme Disease on April 11th.

Symptoms of Late Stage Lyme Disease:

-Tingling and numbness in the hands and feet

He has only been able to work 2 days since the debilitating symptoms set in on March 8th and his monthly living expenses (mortgage and other bills) are about $1200/month.

Late-stage Lyme Disease is extremely difficult to treat and specialists do not accept insurance. 
This is just the beginning of the battle and from the research that has been done, Donnie has a long road ahead of him.
