My name is Koko, and I'm raising money for surgeries and procedures to further my transition. I've been living as a trans woman since January 2021, and though I've been trying to save up for these surgeries, it's a long, expensive journey and I've hit a few obstacles. The aid I'm requesting is to cover the complete cost of these surgeries and procedures, but as I work to help pay a portion of the cost, I have a long way to go.
- Laser Hair Removal: $10,000 (pricing from Ideal Image - laser hair removal for full face, chest, abs, underarms, full legs, bikini, full arms, full back)
- Vocal Feminization Surgery: $10,000 (pricing estimate from Your Lessons Now - average surgery pricing ranges from $8,000-15,000)
- Facial Feminization Surgery: $50,000 (pricing estimate from Healthline - average out of pocket cost ranges from $20,000-50,000)
- Breast Augmentation: $10,000 (pricing estimate from GoodRX - average surgery pricing ranges from $6,000-12,000)
- Miscellaneous Expenses: $10,500 (this includes estimated costs for flights/room & board for travel to complete the more invasive surgeries and procedures, as well as funds for rent and bills while in recovery, ~4-6 weeks/$3,500 per surgery)

Update: this total may change as I begin to get quotes from surgeons and as I work with my insurance company to cover more costs for my treatments. If we raise more than the total cost of my transition before receiving more accurate quotes, I will donate the remaining money to charities benefiting the LGBTQIA+ community.
