Help Melissa fight lymphoma cancer

Hi, my name is Kayce and I am fundraising for my wife, Melissa. She was recently diagnosed with Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma - a type of blood cancer. We don’t have much information yet because we are waiting for another, more invasive surgery/biopsy to take place next week but we know the cancer is spreading and is currently affecting most of the lymph nodes from her jaw down to her lower abdomen. I will post more updates to this page when we get them.

For context, my wife is 26 years old and is the sweetest, kindest, most loving human being. She is a special education teacher for kids with autism and just recently graduated with her bachelors degree in January, during the middle of the pandemic. She was looking forward to finally starting her post-college life when she got the news that no young person thinks they’ll ever hear. Melissa will be having upcoming surgeries and chemotherapy to help with the cancer, along with PET scans, time off work, and possibly more surgeries. I am making this fundraiser to help take off the financial stress that the cancer has already caused with meeting the insurance deductible and out of pocket, as well as having no income from her needing to frequently be off of work. We have rent and bills to pay and are just trying to make ends meet.
