Donation protected
Officer Andrew Wall of the Monroe CT Police Department was diagnosed with terminal stage four Glioblastoma brain cancer in September of 2015. For over 20 years Officer Wall has served his community with pride, gaining the support of the townspeople and local businesses. If you had the privilege of meeting Andy, then you know how caring he is and how dedicated he is to helping those around him both in his work and personal life. NOW is the time that he needs our help.
Andy is the main provider for his wife Lori and their 12-year-old son AJ. On March 16, 2017, by the grace of God, Andy went into remission and was given the clear to return to work by his doctor's, Dr. David Reardon who is the Clinical Director at Center for Neuro-Oncology at Dana -Farber Boston and Dr. Kloss, Head of Oncology at Danbury Hospital, CT. Because he was cleared to return to work, long term disability stopped paying him. One would think with a clean bill of health, Andy would be back at work serving and protecting the community of Monroe like he has done for over 20 years. However, he's not because the Town of Monroe and Police Department will not allow him to and has filled paperwork to have Officer Wall terminated instead of standing by a cancer survivor, a fellow officer, one of their own men who has dedicated his life to serving others.
The process of attempting to terminate Andy by the Town of Monroe has been drawn out and we still have no answers . Officer Wall has not been paid by the Town of Monroe since he was cleared to return to work on March 16, 2017. Going on over 6 months without pay, Andy's medical and daily living bills are piling up. He and his family need our help. It's time for us to stand behind Andy and support him.
Please consider donating to help relieve some of the daily pressure of bills that our mounting up so Andy can focus on what's important, staying healthy and getting his job back so he can serve his community proudly again.
