Help save Panama's street animals

In Panama there's a big problem with homeless animals. There is not an offical number but just so you can get an idea if you drive through the outskirts of the city's center any given day, you will see around 5-14 homeless dogs and/or cats. This animals suffer terrible things in the streets, from sickness and accidents, to abuse and even death.
This is where we come in. We are 3 friends who also happen to be animal lovers. We want to change the life of these animals. We want to take them out of the streets, heal them (physically and emotionally) and find them a forever home.
But, we need your help (lots of it). In order for us to be able to help as many animals as possible we need a piece of land, materials to build the main building, shelters and the fences, medicines, beds, and so many other things. We need this to happen as soon as possible.
Animals are little furry angels, anyone that has ever had the honor to live with one of them knows what we mean. These animals need our help. They need someone not only to help each one of them out of the streets but also someone that speaks for them, for their rights. They need someone to educate others so that in the future no more animals have to suffer.
We (but specially they -the street animals from Panama-) will be so happy and so gratefull to each and every one who contributes to our cause.
We promise to keep you updated on every little step of this amazing journey.

PS: The pictures above where taken at the end of October 2016. We found that poor kitten in the sewer of a very popular local mall. It was raining, she was trembling with cold and she was desperately crying for help. Not one single person stoped to help. Until we found her. We cleaned her, feed her and kept her warm and in a matter of hours she was a playfull and happy little kitten, but most importantly she was safe.

Ayudanos a salvar a los animales de la calle en Panamá.
En Panamá hay un gran problema con los animales sin hogar. No hay un número oficial, pero sólo para que puedan tener una idea, si conducen por las afueras del centro de la ciudad durante cualquier día, verá alrededor de 5-15 perros y/o gatos sin hogar. Estos animales sufren cosas terribles en las calles, desde enfermedades y accidentes, hasta abuso e incluso la muerte.
Es aquí donde entramos nosotros. Somos 3 amigos amantes de los animales. Queremos cambiar la vida de estos animales. Queremos sacarlos de las calles, curarlos (físicamente y emocionalmente) y encontrarles un hogar para siempre.
Sin embargo, necesitamos tu ayuda (mucha ayuda). Para que podamos ayudar a tantos animales como sea posible, necesitamos un terreno, materiales para construir el edificio principal, refugios y cercas, medicinas, camas, entre muchas otras cosas. Necesitamos que esto suceda lo más pronto posible.
Los animales son pequeños ángeles peludos, cualquiera que haya tenido el honor de vivir con uno de ellos sabe lo que queremos decir. Estos animales necesitan nuestra ayuda. Necesitan a alguien que no solo los saque de las calles, sino también alguien que hable por ellos, que luche por sus derechos. Necesitan a alguien que eduque a otros, para que en el futuro otros animales no tengan que sufrir.
Nosotros (pero especialmente ellos -los animales callejeros de Panamá-) estaremos muy felices y muy agradecidos con todos y cada uno de ustedes que contribuya a nuestra causa.
Nos comprometemos a mantenerlos actualizado en cada pequeño paso de este increíble viaje.

PS: Las fotos de arriba, fueron tomadas a finales de octubre de 2016. Encontramos este pobre gatito en el alcantarillado de un centro comercial muy popular. Estaba lloviendo, y ella estaba temblando de frío y lloraba desesperadamente pidiendo ayuda. Ni una sola persona se detuvo para ayudar. Hasta que la encontramos. La limpiamos, la alimentábamos y la mantuvimos caliente y en cuestión de horas era una gatita juguetona y feliz, pero lo más importante, estaba a salvo.
