Dear friends and family,
For several years, the Lord has put it on my heart to take a Discipleship Training School through Youth With A Mission (YWAM). Towards the end of last year, however, I began to really hear Him say "Now is the time; Go for it!" So I began to pursue it. As I searched and prayed over several different YWAM bases, I found YWAM Ålesund in Norway, and I knew it lined up with the pieces that the Lord had already been giving me. YWAM Ålesund runs a 9-Month Discipleship Training School with Creative focuses, such as Visual Arts, Barista, Theatre, Dance, and Music. I knew this was where I was supposed to apply, but then came the choice-- I am passionate about visual arts and I want to use my art for worship, but I am also passionate about being a Barista, and love serving others through coffee. After talking to God about this for a while, I knew that I was supposed to choose the Visual Arts Track, and allow Him to bring the rest of the pieces of the puzzle together. So, I applied. And waited. And waited. And finally, I heard the news--I'd been accepted! I was thrilled, and I knew that this was where God wanted me to be. It was then that my friend tagged me in an Instagram post regarding a Barista internship in a different area of Norway. I immediately sent a message to get more info, and found out that it is a 2 month internship in Ottestad, Norway, from July 10th-August 20th, and that it was ran by a different YWAM base who is connected with the one I would be spending my DTS with! The timing was perfect. My DTS would start September 4th, and I'd finish the internship in August. They even offered to extend my stay in Ottestad so that my gap wasn't so long! God's plans are so much more incredible than what we could ever plan for ourselves!
I am so excited for this next adventure that Jesus is taking me on, and I know He is going to use this time in my life to continue giving me opportunities to dive into deeper levels of trust with Him. I would love for you to join me on this journey, whether it be keeping up with my updates, financial support, or through Interceding for the team I will be with and for revival throughout the country of Norway.
I am confident that The Father will supply all of my needs, and I ask that if you do feel led to give financially, you will talk to Him about an amount.
