St. Jude's Cancer Research Fundraiser

Hi! I'm a Sophomore, and am trying to raise money to donate to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. I have personally lost several people that I deeply cared about because of cancer, but by the grace of God they were privileged enough to live a full life before their passing. Because of this, I have a very soft spot for children and the families of children with cancer. I cannot even begin to imagine what that would be like to know that your poor child cannot live life like most other kids their age, to know they are dying. Since I was very young I have wanted to help these children find a cure; now as a sophomore, I finally have been given the opportunity. My high school, Westlake Academy, requires us to do a personal project that helps the community. Obviously I chose to raise money for St. Jude's; in addition to this website, I am holding a charity week at my school. Once I raise enough money, my goal is $1000, I will personally visit St. Jude to donate this money.
